Madeleine is a London-based, Canadian-born performer. Growing up in Calgary, Alberta, she started dancing at the age of 3, training in all styles in the dance competition circuit. In 2012 she moved to London and pursued a career in dance which has led her to work with artist such as Calvin Harris, Sean Paul and Robbie Williams. Madeleine danced for British synth pop band Years & Years during their first album campaign where they performed on the Voice UK, at Glastonbury as well as many other shows and festivals. In 2018 she joined Dua Lipa on her worldwide Self-Titled tour where they were featured on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert as well as the Brit awards and the opening of the UEFA Champions league finals in Kiev. She has recently broadened her creative capacity with professional experiences in film & television with release dates in 2021.
Madeleine’s Open Contemporary class explores the meaning of contemporary in dance. The choreography plays with musicality and often fuses contemporary elements with other dance styles such as lyrical or commercial. All classes encourage vulnerability by focusing on intention and include some element of technique.
